Ultra Posted 26 December 2006 Share Posted 26 December 2006 The first half was the same old crap. Elvis missed an absolute sitter and we went in a goal down to their only shot on target all half (quality strike though). But we were transformed after Kis equalised. Kelly got his substitutions spot on and there was only going to be one winner. Williams's goal is a contender for goal of the season, not just for the strike but for the passing move that led up to it. He, Weso and Levi bossed the midfield after that and the home side were reduced to aimless hoofs for the rest of the game. Let's hope we can continue this form against the saints and the mackems. If we can squeeze 4 points from those games then an unlikely play-off charge may be on!
Wilkesy Posted 26 December 2006 Share Posted 26 December 2006 on the radio they said about 450 city fans and they sounded very loud well done all of you leicester fans for creating a good atmosphere and showing hull how to sing is that all? it seemed like there was more of us there. was a good atmosphere when we scored - and the Hull fans were poor

OzFox311 Posted 27 December 2006 Share Posted 27 December 2006 at you all... Well done to the boys on a good performance... 1st half was unlucky and at times rather dour as well... but 2nd half, they once again showed some true spirit and some nice touch to put it together... Rob got it right... good to see his substitutions finally pay off, as much as I do agree he has had some shockers with decisions, I am happy to see the nay-sayers will be off him for a week, he deserves that after getting 10 out of a possible 12 points so far... YAY Paddy K scored, and nice try Weso from wide out... Bring on Southhampton, it will be tough, but if we can get something out of it, Christmas may actually be rather merry for the Foxes fans in 2006... :D
Tommeh Posted 27 December 2006 Share Posted 27 December 2006 450 that is very surprising, 1st half was very quite with the odd one off chant of Leicester Leicester Leicester and cmon Leicester. and the Hull fans were singing "can you hear the Leicester sing?" once or twice. But 2nd half it all changed with the boys attacking up our end we made a lot of noise and the atmosphere from our end was great, the 200 odd Hull singers to the left soon shut up. Yesterday just went to show how good our fans can be when we have something to cheer about.
