So, What's Been Different This Season?

I was just on the OS when i came across this: Link

So you travel the length and breadth of the country following Leicester City?

If so, we want to hear from you.

City have always been renowned for their strong support up and down the country, with family and friends clocking up the miles in pursuit of their beloved team whether at home or away.

The Foxes even have a strong overseas following with certain fans having recently visited the Walkers Stadium from as far a field as Australia, America, Sweden and Germany.

We therefore want to recognise the efforts of these Blue Army members by publicising them in a future edition of our award-winning matchday magazine.

Interested parties would simply be required to send in a picture of themselves or of their travelling group while answering several questions.

I've not seen us have strong support this season except for three games.

That article is quite annoying for me, and a little bit patronising.

Only games where I think we had good support in terms of numbers and vocal support have been Hull, Derby and Birmingham, we were ok at cov and eba as well.

I must admit I am a bit of a let down these days as I used to travel up to see City from London (moved down here about 13 years ago) but in the last 2 or 3 years, I have hardly been (apart from when Leicester play a London club and work allows!).

I suppose these lads who dip there money into there pockets and travel a big distance deserve a mention although not that big a mention!!!

BTW, whatever happened to singing at City???

Think we were in good voice for Coventry especially, seeing as it was a friday night and a dull 0-0 draw.

I said to Bert yesterday night, taking 700 to Wolves was shocking. It's one thing to criticise Fulham for rubbish support, but when we take that little to somewhere that's about 90 minutes drive away, we are hardly in a position to comment.

Difference is, we're a shit Championship team, they're a decent Premiership team  . Also helps that Fulham is a more affluent area than Leicester - their fans can more easily afford it.

Stand up and be counted....i was their. Follow city everywhere with Bert, Wils and Wilkesy. However the lack of atmosphere often annoys us.

I dont think real support should be based around how good a team is doing to be honest as it seems to stench of part-time supporting. If we only took 700 to Wolves that is a shocker.

Yes, I agree it is poor, but taking 700 fans to Wolves for a Championship game is a damn sight better than taking 90 fans to Blackburn for a Premiership game. If we're shocking, then there's barely a word to describe THAT kind of support.

Fair enough mate.

I think football support has gone down the pan in recent years when it comes to the noise generated. I was lucky enough to get a VIP pass to an Arsenal European cup game earlier this season and it typifies to me that Arsenals complacent fans, with an unreal stadium and quality players were outsung by the Zagreb supporters who were awesome. They all sang in unison, jumped all over the place and were relentless. I looked around this awesome stadium and saw dosey prats just sitting there doing fudge all. The same can be said for loads of other premiership sides like the prawn sandwich eaters of Man Utd I suppose.

Footy isnt for the working class man anymore........... lol
