I'm not averse to comparing bands and I liked Elastica but I can't see it myself. Howling Bells have a quite dark, mysterious sounds. Almost gothic and bluesy version of indie music. I urge everyone to buy the album though if you haven't already got it. It's really something special. Nationwider and TPH I know for a fact will love them.
