Nalis

Looking at the match reports, reviews and ratings, I'm getting quite worried about Nalis. I've found it difficult to find him out since his arrival. He seems like a devoted character who's also very professional, but his form is terribly unstable. And why this sudden drop of form? He went from being our star man to being at the same poor level as Joey, Makin et al (thats how I evaluate the views on him anyway). I do feel for him because I feel he's very genuine and really wanted to succeed here, but with all the domestic problems he had last year and the fortunes of the club I can imagine it's been an unsettling time for him here. But then again, he's managed to put in some sublime performances for us, so it's very difficult to find out whats wrong. And I can't really see why he should already be exhausted at this stage of the season...

I wonder if he's been told that he won't get his contract renewed or something..?

I do hope that we will still get a few great performances from him this season as I dont want him to suffer the same fate as the 'other' persistent underperformers..

I too am a bit concerned with Nalis at the moment. He was fantastic at the start of the season but it seems that he has fallen by the wayside recently. Maybe the 3-5-2 system doesn't suit him, because the midfield becomes more congested and there is less space for him to play his passing game.

I don't know what the answer is either - I would rather Nalis continue to play instead of Gemmill, but if he continues to play badly then something needs to be done. It's not like we have much strength in the central midfield area...perhaps Dawson should be given a little run in the team at the very least the way our midfielders are playing.

I think its mainly due to his age, and in the previous leagues he's played in, the amount of games in the space of time have not come close to the amount so far in the championship,and to be fair hes not missed many, if any games this season, I think he just needs a rest really, dawson ive heard off a few people on this site is a hard worker etc which is good, I just hope he can provide us with the quality at the moment because thats what we lack, aside from williams the usage of the ball from out central 3 in midfield has been inefficient.
