It looks like a right laugh. I just dont know wether ive got the cahunas to actually up and go it alone. Has anybody ever done anything along these lines? Any advice? Ive never done that but one of my best mates, a girl called Marion went over to one of the Spanisg islands about 5 years ago and despite being down in the dumps at times with no money, getting bullied by bosses and thinking of coming home about 20 times throughout a long summer, she said she would do it all again. I can remember her saying how great it was to be "free" (a female excuse to get porked on a daily basis by 5 lads without feeling like a slut as no-one will find out ) and that she met some great people, made some great friends and said it was character building for the future. Having done a job like that must make jobs in the UK a piece of pi$$! My advice to anyone who is between 17-22 to make sure they do two things before they settle down into normal life. Travel for 6 months and also go to Uni, but not at the same time

Tomassi Posted 6 February 2007 Posted 6 February 2007 Just do it! Granted you will be out of your comfort zone but once you do it you will feel like you can do anything, priceless experience!

lildave3 Posted 6 February 2007 Posted 6 February 2007 My sister is doing this now. She broke up with her boyfriend of 5 years so she decided she needed a change. She's 25 now, been doing it for 2 years, she loves it. The way she talks about it, i'd recommend it

Rincewind Posted 6 February 2007 Posted 6 February 2007 There was a program on TV a while back where celebrities did it. It looks fun but you have to be prepa\red for some hard work and disciplined rules. You have an image to uphold. Be prepared to make an ass of yourself whilst t being sober and keeping order when sloshed. Show empathy to the revel-rousers when they come to you complaining about something going wrong even if it's of their own making. Apart from the above it's easy.

Do club reps have all the fun?!!?!?
Turtles Head Posted 7 February 2007 Author Posted 7 February 2007 no not hoping for someone to come with. On the website ive been looking at (air-pro.co.uk) theres a forum so you can get to know like minded people before you go. My brother actually recently split with his girlfriend so is more than keen to come. Im pretty set on going alone though, would be such an experience. Since last post i told my girlfriend of 18 months. Not impressed....
