dekus41 Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Interesting that a couple of manager's are mentioned in this thread. Iain Dowie & Kevin Keegan. Why would Leicester be interested in either of these ? Neither of them have had any real success & Keegan ha the habit of walking away when things get tough. I'm really not sure who would be a good choice . But if the ultimate goal is the premiership then surely we need someone with proven experience. Maybe Steve Mclaren as hopefully he will be out of work by the end of March LMAO
Leonisco Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 What's the difference? We now have the stability and financial backing off the pitch and the belief and the confidence on the pitch to start going places. BRING IT ON!!!
Geo V Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 There might be a few with egg on their faces soon when Kelly is allowed a little slack. He may be no O'Neill but he's nowhere near as bad as many picture him on here through frustration. I must admit that over the course of this season my opinion of RK has gone downhill due to the fact that his coaching skills havent improved the players, infact made some of the lads worse than last year. In his favour I have said that he has had limited funds and a couple of his signings have done well but lets get things into perspective. He has a load of players in on loan who will be returning and a few are out of contract in the summer and arent expected to re-sign (Tiatto, Nils). Despite what MM may be saying I have the feeling that whatever RK does between now and the end of the season will have no bearing on the fact that MM will bring in his own man.

Probably the right decision too. I just hope Kelly leaves on a good note though. But, then again, with the reed blowing in the wind mentality of some of our supporters I'm sure that will happen.
