lookwhaticando Posted 21 February 2007 Posted 21 February 2007 So does Rafa, apparently. 1926: Alvaro Arbeloa and Steve Finnan double up on the Liverpool right, with the Irishman down to play in the midfield. His new Spanish team-mate had a great game against Ronaldinho at the Nou Camp when playing for Deportivo La Coruna earlier in the season so Rafa Benitez must be hoping for more of the same tonight. MC Prussian Posted 21 February 2007 Posted 21 February 2007 Aren't Everton's Neville and Pompey's Taylor also often used as wingers?
Flynny Posted 21 February 2007 Posted 21 February 2007 Finnan's played there before. He's primarily a right back but I thought he was used anywhere on the flank?

Flynny Posted 21 February 2007 Posted 21 February 2007 So had Maybury. Not for us... but it's been done. Yeah but I don't mean he's been shunted there out of desperation a few times, it's properly one of his positions.
Magictv Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 The important thing is when Rafa did it it worked, unlike when Rob does it.
