Rincewind Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 I'm disappointed that I have not been featured. I cannot place anybody in any particular catagory. I think of you all as brothers and sisters except for Lisa who would be good as my bodyguard because she can fight like a girl and scratch eyes and knee men where it hurts.

I'm androgynous.
Thracian Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Whether people admit it or not there's a very strong family atmosphere about FoxesTalk. You do feel protective of people you get to know and who have perhaps had the courage to stick their necks out for the greater good. People who you feel don't deserve being mocked or greeted with scepticism. My gratitude for the support I had during the illness of my wife is well documented and there are certainly people on here who I feel are like brothers, best friends, sons or sisters. I am staggered at the amount of practical and emotional help people on here would give to one another should the need arise as has been dramatically demonstrated over the sad loss of Janx, but on other occasions in so many ways too. Posters on Foxestalk have much to be proud of and its not just good to be part of that but worthwhile too. There's no way I'll be able to continue spending so much time on Foxestalk in future but when people ask what I get out of it I could honestly write a small book on the different things, some more tangible than others. One of them is belonging to something so positive, something that is worth caring about I suppose. And that's exactly like a family.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Family, bah they've left me. I got home from work one day to find a note on the fridge. "Dear Manwell We've had enough of you so we've left P.S we've taken the hover. Fezz & TPH."

You can be my cousin if you like. Or auntie... take your pick.
