potter3 Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 Who else is in the squad that we could give a go in center midfield? Huddlestone or someone
Daggers Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 That's one of my points. Hargreaves is living off of 3 good games at the World Cup. Before that everyone was slating him saying how poor he was! He hasn't changed much. He still can't pass a ball. He may be able to run but thats it. And he's supposed to be worth 20 million quid? Don't make me laugh... He was one of the two players up for it in the first half tonight - just him and Stevie G seemed to be able to play ball. For my money they are the only central midfield pairing worth considering
lookwhaticando Posted 28 March 2007 Author Posted 28 March 2007 Is it a coincidence that the removal of Lampard and the return to centre of Gerrard resulted in England scoring three times as many goals in 90 minutes as they had done in the previous 450 minutes?
Ultra Posted 28 March 2007 Posted 28 March 2007 He'll do an alright job against Andorra though. I wouldn't play him against a good side, but against a team with 0 points, 1 goal scored and 19 conceded I reckon he should be able to cope. He didn't. Maybe the ginger minger will think twice about selecting his love child in future.

Last night's performance from him just showd why he needs to be played in his best position.

Superb.
