Geo V Posted 7 April 2007 Posted 7 April 2007 Did anyone catch the Milan Manderic report on SS before the Southend-Colchester game??!! I must admit I came out of it a happy man . It was only a couple of mins but when the reporter asked him how much money is available to spend he didnt say numbers but gave the message that we need major investment and when asked if RK is the man to spend that money and if he will be there in the summer his initial response was "Who knows?". He was saying that he was assessing the situation as he didnt know anybody within the club and now he is closer to knowing whats needed! Woooo! Any little doubts in my head that maybe Milan was going to give RK a chance have been vanquished. Lets hope someone new will be in place soon. Its a happy day.

And Plus how can anyone know that when we will probably have a new manager? That's why we should get a new manager in asap so he can evaluate the squad before next season, i.e realise how crap most of them are and get rid of them!

Unless Kelly is staying and stated that he will be getting rid of 11 players OR MM is really starting to run the show and deciding himself which players to boot! I can't see either of them being likey so i will say it is just a rumour!

With a big enough chequebook I think even Kelly could sneak us into the playoffs, though I won't be too upset to see him go. He's supposedly putting in 3 million a season or something, is he not? But if the debt's gone too and he's looking to increase revenues, the transfer budget could be more than that, which we probably need to get out of this division. The top three have all spent in excess of 5 million, I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.
