dandannieldanok Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 Saturday saw a full fixture list and following the news that the Unibond League had been given the go ahead to start their new Midland Division in time for the start of the 2007/08 season. Which mean that several of the clubs at the top had a lot to play for with three clubs getting promotion. When the results came in at 5.45pm on Saturday it was certain that Leamington, Romulus and Quorn would all be promoted to level four of the pyramid. C'mon on you mighty reds I have followed them since Varney was there and I have to say they deserve this. Marcus Law is a great manager.

Geo V Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 Does Joe Jonas play for Quorn? I think he plays for Spurs now.
filbertway Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 Does Chris Gray? He played for coalville at the start of the season... good player... then Brendan Phillips came in and did a peter taylor ish job, dis mantling the squad and taking them from top 6 to bottom 6.
Floating Fox Posted 16 April 2007 Posted 16 April 2007 If they hadn't restructured then Quorn would have played FC united
dandannieldanok Posted 17 April 2007 Author Posted 17 April 2007 Does Joe Jonas play for Quorn? Not sure, his name is always down in the programme but I have yet to see him. He is an excellent player for their level. If they hadn't restructured then Quorn would have played FC united Glad they aren't playing them, when Quorn beat them this season in the trophy FC United went all mardy and didn't give Quorn their percentage of the gate receipts. Quickly learning the greed of the club they left.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 Won 5-0 last night, wish I'd skipped LCFC-BRUM now
Tevez Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 If they hadn't restructured then Quorn would have played FC united They played FC United, earlier in the cup. Quorn won 3-2 After Extra Time.
Tevez Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Won 5-0 last night, wish I'd skipped LCFC-BRUM now Do you go Quorn alot? Their Astro-turf pitch is quality.
Floating Fox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 They played FC United, earlier in the cup. Quorn won 3-2 After Extra Time. Cracking Atmosphere at Gigg Lane as well. Great Club

Not as much as I'd like, about 7-10 home games a season, starting from Varney's last season there. Cracking Atmosphere at Gigg Lane as well. Great Club They're not trust me, read my earlier post, very greedy and can't handle defeat.

Are you sure about that, it's most likely just a rumour becasue the FA would have stepped in surely
dandannieldanok Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 Are you sure about that, it's most likely just a rumour becasue the FA would have stepped in surely At a recent game, Quorn's chairman told us all about it, how they lied about how much profit was made so they didn't pay what was due. The reason being that underdogs Quorn spoiled there big day by winning in the last minute of extra time. He also announced the club were to get 20% sell-on clause if Varney were to leave Crewe. Therefore I propose Leicester pay £2mil for him. WE get a good striker and Quorn get loads of cash.
Floating Fox Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Come on Leamington!! Up the Brakes!! Quality support for them as well.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 April 2007 Author Posted 21 April 2007 Come on Leamington!! Up the Brakes!! They have been excellent this season I must admit, I think the last game of the season is Leamington-Quorn.
