Stu28 Posted 21 April 2007 Share Posted 21 April 2007 Geoff Horsfield is hoping to secure a contract at Leicester City as he nears the end of his loan at The Walkers Stadium. The experienced striker is on loan at The Foxes from Sheffield United and is aware he has no long-term future at Bramall Lane. He has scored twice in 12 appearances during his time with the Championship strugglers and admits he is looking to fix up a deal. "I am in limbo and need to earn a contract," Horsfield told The Independent. "I have no future at Sheffield United." Horsfield originally joined The Blades on loan in February last year before completing a £1.2million permanent move from West Bromwich Albion. But he has not featured under Neil Warnock since the club's promotion to the Premiership and spent the first half of the season on loan at Leeds United.
