I agree with Matt. To them it's only a job. I'd do the same thing - not many players would choose Newcastle over Chelsea regardless of the number of games he's going to play. Money talks and there's no doubt who'll pay more.

Plus, he may even do well at Chelsea. It's not like Ballack was outstanding and we all know Makelele is getting on a bit, and I'd rather play Sidwell than Mikel in midfield. The move to Chelsea makes more sense if you think outside a fan's perspective.
