Guest seanfox778 Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I pay 6 pound a month for this insurance thing, i had my phone stolen 6 months ago and when i spoke to them then they said the couldn't do anything because i didn't contact the police within 24 hours so i had to pay£100 for new phone, i have the motorola krazr now and there is a crack on the front screen and they won't replace it because it dosen't affect the function of the phone. ba****ds
JoeyB Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Gutted, they replaced mine when i had a crack on the camera, but it was only on the cover
Guest seanfox778 Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I'm thinking of waiting a few days because they kept my case open, then tell them that the crack got worse and i cannot see the screen, that should do it.

They will send you a replacement phone out then, but charge you £30 admin fee, and then inspect the phone when they receive it back!
Babylon Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 The moral of the story is don't take out insurance just be careful with your phone.
Ultra Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Don't need to take out an insurance policy with the provider anyway. Speak to your bank or insurance company and they can probably sort you out with a better deal, such as including it in a generla household policy.
