Realistic Transfer Targets for new season

GK: Stuart Taylor (if Walker leaves)

Defence: Andy Webster, and somebody else

Midfield: Richie Partridge, Paul Hartley

Forward: Gary McSheffrey, Leroy Lita

Most of them will command a fee, so I very much expect that we will sign few of those! They would be the guys I'd like to see here though, but I suspect CL will do a MON and go scouring the lower leagues for gems.

Eddie Lewis from Preston could do a good job on the left wing.

LEICESTER boss Craig Levein is tracking Arbroath hitkid Gavin Swankie.

Levein has been monitoring the 21-year-old for some time and had him watched in last week's 3-2 win at Berwick.

The striker is out of contract in the summer and has also been targeted by Partick Thistle manager Dick Campbell, who had a £30,000 bid knocked back when he was in charge at Brechin.

An Abroath spokesman said: 'Gavin is a fantastic talent and it would take a sizeable amount of money for clubs to get him right now.'
