lildave3 Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 The best bit about Kenan and Kel was blatantly Coolio in the opening credits.

Geo V Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 What a load of bol locks that is.Complete cockrot. It was alright, especially seeing a Northern accent on American TV for once because they all think we speak and dress like Prince Charles .

lildave3 Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 I dont think so. Then who do you speak and dress like? And don't say Boy George.
Geo V Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Then who do you speak and dress like? And don't say Boy George. I dunno . We all think we sound a certain way and then when something is played back to us like on a moby or bloomin wedding I think "I dont sound like that do I?" Not cockney, not snobby but somewhere nicely in-between. (IMO). As for dress sense I dont wear dresses.

Geo V Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Another sterotype Americans have.Tea and Crumpets. The first time I went to the US was in 97 and we had such a laugh with the American lasses as they all loved our English accents and in particular that we were from London. They believed everything we said from that we didnt ppreciate swearing (bollocks) to having been to school with Princes Diana`s not spoken about and dark sheep of the family, Frank Spencer. The laugh we had at there expense was amazing and they believed the lot.

Thus the reason why I made my comment.

lildave3 Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 An interesting survey here. I'm that bored i've actually just sat and done that. Could of been worse I suppose, I could of stood up and done it.
Geo V Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 An interesting survey here. If you have seen American vacation with Chevy Chase, you`ll know what the average American tourist is like in London. As for them that are still in the US, they wouldnt have a clue about real England because they hardly watch our TV shows and all our actors and actresses seem to have arrived there straight from the London stage. Fook knows what they made of Danny Dyer and Vinnie Jones.
Alexikokopops Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Yes, yes you are. Thus the reason why I made my comment. It all makes sense really.
