Mansfield Town - pre-season friendly - Friday 20th July

Recommended Posts

Tickets

£10 Adults

£5 Concessions

All pay on the gate.

Trains

Mansfield station is right next to the ground. The last train back to Leicester leaves just 2 minutes after the game so you will need to leave about 5-10 minutes from the end to be sure of catching it. There are no later trains from either of the other two station.

Cheap Day Return fare is £10.20

Pubs

There are many public houses in the town centre which is only a ten minute walk from the ground. Although not all are away support friendly; two to definitely stay away from are the Old Victoria and the Market Tavern. There is also a pub next to Currys which is a very away fans friendly pub and has a wide selection of drink and food.

Eating

There is also lots of places to eat at before the game, like KFC, Maccy d's, and various fish 'n' chip shops.

Is there anywhere you can eat?

Hope its ok if i do the away games threads:)

If that's meant to be an answer to my 'anywhere to eat' question then I'll need to ask it again, because I don't do KFC or McDonalds unless its that or dying and chip shops generally don't have anywhere to sit?

MANSFIELD

Disease

Mansfield has the highest incidence of genital warts in England. Approximately 61% of people under the age of 42 are infected. Rabies was finally eradicated from Mansfield in 1997.

Education

It is possible to convince the average resident of Mansfield that trolls live under bridges. No one in Mansfield has ever left the town for fear of falling off the dge of the world and believe that strangers appear by magic and don't really exist.

Sex

Do not have sex with people from Mansfield. Seriously.

Society

There exists a hierarchical structure to Mansfield society: The most hideously genetically deformed at the bottom all the way up to those with one-eye at the top. It is customary to publicly beat anyone you see with a hump and stones can be thrown at old ladies.
