THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Lane Garrison gets a lucky breakRecently convicted Prison Break star Lane Garrison will be remanded by a judge for a psychiatric evaluation, instead of doing time in jail."The fact that you may have some notoriety, I don't really care," said Superior Court Judge Eldon Fox. "We don't have all the information. I intend to remand Mr. Garrison today to the Department of Corrections for diagnostics."Under the terms of the evaluation, Garrison will be remanded to a California prison for 90 days, where he will receive a psychiatric evaluation to decide if he's a suitable candidate for probation.Garrison was convicted of drunk-driving after crashing into a tree on Dec 2, 2006. A 17-year-old passenger in Garrison's car was killed in the accident, while two 15-year-old girls were also injured.
