dandannieldanok Posted 5 August 2007 Posted 5 August 2007 Since the new season is just a week away and most teams have now sorted themselves out on the transfer front, I have decided to start another fantasy league for the Championship. Some of you may or may not remember last years, here is a reminder:Championship Fantasy League THE RULES: (pretty much same as last year really but read anyway) 1. You must choose a starting 11 consisiting of 1 keeper, 4 defenders and 4 midfielders and 2 strikers in a 4-4-2 formation. 2. You can only choose 1 player from a team so it is reasonably fair. i.e you cannot choose hume and kisnorbo. Other than this, there are no more rules to consider, there is no price tag on players so as long as you stick to the 3 points above you'll be alright. In the circumstance of a long term injury to one of your selected players, PM me and I'll let you replace whoever it is. In coincidence with the proper January transfer window, you will be able to transfer upto 2 of your players as you wish during that month. If I get decent response the scoring will begin on saturday. You can post your team now and keep editing your post if you want to make changes up until Friday evening when I will formally post your final teams. SCORING DETAILS: Goalkeeper: Goal Scored +7 Goal Conceded -2 Clean Sheet +2 Defender: Goal Scored +5 Goal Conceded -1 Clean Sheet +1 Midfielder: Goal Scored +4 Striker: Goal Scored +3 Other: Played full 90 mins +2 Substitute on or off +1 Team wins +3 Team Draws +1 Red Card -10 To get the ball rolling and to give a working example, my provisional team is: GK: McCormick (Plymouth) DF: Caldwell (Burnley) DF: Ward (Coventry) DF: Morgan (Sheff Utd) DF: Alexander (Preston) MF: Ambrose (Charlton) MF: Brunt (Sheff Wed) MF: Clemence (Leicester) MF: Sinclair (Cardiff) CF: Sahar (QPR) CF: King (Watford)
