Wellman Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Saints as it's quite near to me and we haven't lost at St Marys 68694 We haven't won either 68702 so what? drawing is better than losing
step Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 What are you on about Toonboy, we dont want one of the big teams like Manu, Ars or chelsea. we want to play one of the shite teams like brentford, sheffield u, forest or Newcastle. We know we are liable to get knocked out by the big three but the rest will be a walk in the park.
Wilson Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 If we get a home tie then it is more likely it will be the end of our cup run.

City Fan Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 I would prefer to have Southampton/Brentford because we would then have a chance of progressing to the Semis. If not, I would like to have a glamour fixture against the winner of Newcastle/Chelsea match, just to basically boost the clubs finances. If we were to play Newcastle, we would have a realistic chance of progressing.
Durnerz Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Anyone away, home tie would be a huge let down as the crowd at home are rubbish, half the reason we do well away is because everyone gets behind the lads 100% and the vocal support is superb, at home its a tense atmosphere fuelled with moaning and groaning, from a players perspective I know which i'd rather play in.

But it could turn out completely different, too. We're in the quarters now and I guess at this advanced level, the home support will grow for sure. Don't write off the Walkers. And we DO can beat opponents at home...

foxesfan69 Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Anyone as long as it is away!!!!!!!!! I loved the atmosphere at Reading but couldn't make the Charlton game Definately going next round.
