Fox in a Box Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 They have a replay to fight out. We are better away from home at present How many tickets will we get? Is this a good sign?
Muz Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 I hope we get Burnley. But Ewood Park aint a bad ground to go to. I think its about 4000 tickets we will get last season we took quite alot if i remember rightly, was a good day out
Craig Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 We'll get more than that, at least 5,500 because of fa cup rules I should think we'll get the whole stand though which is 8,000, as that's what they do when they play big UEFA cup games.
philafox Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 We should get allocated 15% of the capacity of the ground.
Simon Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 We should get allocated 15% of the capacity of the ground. 69475[/snapback] I thought it was a quarter? In any case there should be plenty I would have thought: Burnleys away stand seats more than 4000 in any case. I bet I have to drive all the way to Leicester to queue though... Edit: I'm wrong it is 15%
TrickyTrev Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 We seem to be better away from home than at home, so I can't say I am to dissapointed by this aspect of the draw. I was just hoping that Arsenal would play Man Utd and thus knock one of the others out. As it stands the semi final line up is likely to be Man Utd, Arsenal, Newcastle/Tottenham and the inner of our tie. So not easy!
Wilson Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 Im pleased that we've got another away tie because I think we've got a better chance of going through now.
Anish Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 I'm well happy that we're away - we have a much better away form and our fans have been magnificent away from the WS.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 Very pleased with this draw, I heard we will get 7,000 tickets. We will sell them all and it will be an amazing day out.
Chandler Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 An away draw is good news for us (in the cup that is - our away form crumbled in the Championship under Bassett and Levein only ONE win - THREE under Adams). The older players will motivate the younger members of the squad in the absence of a lead from management. We might become complacent at home in front of a kop that can't even sing when we're winning and a few thousand extra fans who suddenly find they have spare cash, that it's not too far to the Walkers after all and that their presence is not required at the office on a Saturday afternoon.

Spot on.
MC Prussian Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 Ewood Park would be a great choice for our away supporters. As long as I can remember, Blackburn's home crowd has always been low in the past 10 years. I recall a match on telly from there, most of the stands were empty. Good sign for us? I think so.
