jimbo32 Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 according to sky today, this round will earn the club 480,000 before ticket sales.the breakdown is 220,000 for reaching the quarters, and 260,000 for guarenteed tv money (every quarter final will be shown on tv). This is great news for the club because all of this money should be available for Team building.
BartonFox Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 If we are away to Burnley then it'll be a sell out, if it's a trip to Ewood then we'll get about 8,000 tickets but I doubt Rovers will sell out. I'd rather go to Burnley as I think we can win that comfortabley. I would imagine we'll be the first game up on either the Saturday or the Sunday, meaning an early kick-off, as we are probably percieved as the least attractive tie of the round.

Wilson Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 8,000 Tickets?????? I know we should be able to sell the majority of them but the good thing about away games is that everyone who goes to them sings & boosts the team - I don't want the atmosphere to be like a home game.
Oli Posted 21 February 2005 Posted 21 February 2005 I want this game to be a Saturday basically because I am flying to Spain on the Sunday.
