MPH Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 oh bless them. just been a story on SSN saying they have sold only 118 season tickets. . i shouldnt laugh but its just a different world isnt it? their gates have actually dropped since getting into the football league.....
Micky Ruddle Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 'Mon The Stanley.I have their socks. Tevez, there's another pair of socks you got too pal....
Tommeh Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 Their now my official 2nd team. Really nice set of fans when we visited earlier in the season, ground has planty of character and they create a decent atmosphere opposite the away fans. Oh and their keeper I'd love to see them do well, stay up and build up their attendances. Credit to those 118 people and the other 900 odd other stanley fans who turn up to follow their team instead of supporting Man u/c, liverpool, blackpool etc. Real fans

Floating Fox Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 What does the chairman expect, the locals can watch blackburn for cheaper than accy. willy puller. Good set of loyal fans, top ultras group as well. Would be nice to see them stay up.
Koke Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 I heard the chairman knows all the season ticket holders personally.

Apparently they need to have a 1,000 more seats to stay in the league. Personally i think they need to set new criteria for getting in the league based on finances and average attendances. Some clubs in the conference barely get 500 fans at some games.
Geo V Posted 5 September 2007 Posted 5 September 2007 And we think we have problems. They are more famous for being mentioned in a TV add than they are a football club!
MPH Posted 8 September 2007 Author Posted 8 September 2007 would be nice if there is a saturday when city are not playing to get a few of us up there to support them.... i didnt go to the game but they sound like a nice bunch of people...
