Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 davieG i said JoeyB or Joey meaning one or the other not both im not fussed which one heh, i like it - funny man, davieG
Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Because all those funky characters will doubtless have been converted into code that the forum can display correctly. Complex characters (non-standard, rather) are converted into HTML first I imagine... for example â„¢ becomes ™ which is seven characters, so it becomes obvious why a 6 or 7 letter name with silly characters quickly becomes a name with over 26 characters. This little tidbit was brought to you by the 90% of my brain that doesn't function all the time and may or may not be accurate. (An alternative theory is that the forum software doesn't know how to reject a name because it has silly characters, and instead just displays the error message for long user names instead). does this apply to my Ã¥ - or is that just a normal letter?
lookwhaticando Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 does this apply to my å - or is that just a normal letter? Relatively normal. Probably.
