Being one of the Fryatt supporters my question is, is he ready to step up to the plate or is he showing his wares? I really hope he will go on and prove himself a top Leicester City player for the next few years. Thoughts I Predict a FRYATT
mancunianfox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I'd think that he is motivated by the arrival of a new manager tbh. He obviously wasn't in Martin Allen's plans and given that DJ Campbell was one of Allen's signings I think he feels like he has a good shot at taking his place.

Unfortunately his lack of pace and greediness still frustrates the hell out of me. Does look better than DJ at the moment though. I'd be tempted to start the two of them at Charlton given De Vries's tendency to go missing away from home.

I think with Hume on the right, Fryatt and DJ could be the way forward. Fryatt held the ball up well last night, much better than Devries did. Granted we wont have the height anymore but with creativity coming from Clem and Hume it shouldn't matter. PS thought Chambers had a great game too.
