davieG Posted 26 February 2005 Posted 26 February 2005 From the OS, Craig Levein says that a point on the board is the only positive he can take from Saturday's below-par away 0-0 draw with Reading. The Foxes had created a commendable 18 goalscoring opportunities when they faced Stoke four days earlier, but were restricted to just one effort on target at the Madejski Stadium against the Royals. The result leaves City in 18th position in the Championship table, and they must now focus on next weekend's East Midlands derby clash against Nottingham Forest after a busy run of fixtures. Levein said: "The fact that we got a clean sheet away from home is about the only positive that we can take away from this game. "We have been playing very well recently without picking up any points, but today was one of our worst performances for a while. "We put in plenty of effort and we defended quite well, but we were very poor going forward. "Neither side created many chances. If you'd have spoken to me before the game and told me that we would keep a clean sheet then I'd have thought we'd have won the match. But that wasn't to be. "We just didn't quite click at all today. A lot of the players have got tired legs at the moment so we have got the chance now of a little bit of a rest ahead of next weekend's derby game against Nottingham Forest. "It will be good to get back to the Walkers Stadium to play a home game because at the moment we seem to be on the road all the time. "It is always hard to get anything away from home in this league and we have seen that with our results recently. But we have got a point today and I have got to be pleased with that. "From my point of view the rest that we will get due to the fact that we have got no midweek fixtures will be vital to us." Dion Dublin and Danny Tiatto were both substituted in the second period, and Levein revealed that the duo had picked up knocks which had forced his hand. He added: "Both players have picked up hamstring injuries. That could be the culmination of playing three very hard away matches in the space of a week. That's taken its toll on them. "Hopefully we have got them off before any real damage was caused and we will now have to take a good look at them on Monday."
