Chairman of the Bored Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=37708 Bit late on this one chaps. The Guardian on Friday said was film of the year.
mancunianfox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Saw it on Friday. Loved it. I'm very critical of films and I really disliked Deborah Curtis' book but the film was much better. It was very bleak (as you'd imagine) but they even managed some non-forced moments of light relief through Rob Gretton. Theres not much I could criticise it for. It wasn't a film that relied on style...just good pacing and quality cinematography.
