Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 How the hell anyone would drop Robinson is beyond me, it really is. 10 Games = Conceded 2, Says enough for me. Could be because England have arguably the best defence in the world (bar the Italians). Robinson is distinctly average, and whenever the big occaision arises, he cocks it up big style. Against the Germans (although it was a freindly), against Croatia, and against Russia. His form for Tottenham so far this season has been abysmal and he always parries the ball, the man couldn't catch a fooking cold. Also, the fact that he's about as popular as the SARS virus anywhere outside Tottenham surely points to the fact that he's just boolocks. Sure, James has his moments, but I'd still select him ahead of Robinson. As I've said before, Scott Carson is underrated in my opinion and deserves a chance because he's consistent.
