MPH Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Sometimes. Not all the time because it will disrupt the flow of the game. Only use on goalline decisions. exactly to be honest goal line technology is all thats needed, it will cease to become football if anything else is involved
Simi Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 exactlyto be honest goal line technology is all thats needed, it will cease to become football if anything else is involved Having goal line technology will be just as bad. The fight for advertising rights, "this decsion is sponsored byyyyyyyyy BUDDDDWIEEEEESERRRR" Also, having this sort of thing in football, will only increase the gap between the Premiership and everyone else.
David O'Leary Posted 25 November 2007 Author Posted 25 November 2007 Thanks for all the help, shouldn't need any more
MikeyT Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 I know no one has posted on this subject for a while, but i just wanted to add my thoughts. I think we definately need goal line technology. How many times during the course of a season now, do we see goals that go over the livne that arent given or vice versa. At the end of the day, it could determine whether a team is relegated or not. I think in this day and age, how quickly you see replays, it has to be done. So what if it slows the game down by about 30 seconds....it could make all the difference!
