Burrows, Grayson / A N Other & Taggart

Has anybody given consideration to the wisdom of employing Frank Burrows as Director of Football, Simon Grayson (or some similar young / limited experienced Coach) as Manager and Taggs as Coach ?

I think it could work, would save MM some money (only one new appointment) and make good use of 'old Franks' knowledge, coupled with a bit of enthusiasm from the younger guys !

Problem I see with that is that Frank is a coach not a pen pusher.

Director of Football generally sorts players contracts out and gives advice to the Manager. Frank is a hand on coach who would want to be involved with Training on a day to day basis.

Not saying it wouldnt work but I think its unlikely.

Biggest problem is if we go for it and stick with the system it will mean three pay offs every couple of months instead of one (and three new recruits to find when they're sacked)
