Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I dunno Mablo. Sometimes teams put in a performance after a bad run under their old manager i.e. QPR with Kelly. We'll see. I don't think it does us any good for Saturday particularly. http://boards.footymad.net/mboard/fmb.php?...;mid=2131505330
Simi Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I wonder if Walsh is still sat by the phone? He probably thinks it's broken.'Why oh why hasn't it rung?' I think his silence speaks volumes.

Master Fox Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I'll never know how Steve Walsh always manages to maintain the just got off a sunbed look?
Alexikokopops Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I'll never know how Steve Walsh always manages to maintain the just got off a sunbed look? He employs Raj to apply fake tan everyday. Back sack and crack. True story.
Suffolk_fox Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Maybe Steve Cotterill has left because MM has told him the job is his.....
Fat Ron Posted 8 November 2007 Author Posted 8 November 2007 Maybe Steve Cotterill as left because MM has told him the job is his..... Its possible but I would be amazed.... Burnley won only once in last 10, hardly signs of an "up and coming Manager".
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 As much as Burrows is a nice bloke and all, I dunno whether it would be the right decision in him staying just because he's had a few reasonable results, and just because he's here. We kept Kelly for those reasons. Assuming that Milan's other two options have had premiership experience, I reckon he'd go with them. Then again we might go with stability and a nice 'tache. Who knows. Just appoint someone farken!!
crisp monster Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 it's a fact Milan loves Dowie it's taking time because he's got to get Cov to release him and it'll be harder to do whilst Cov are pulling out decent results if he can get him, it'll be Dowie. the one manager that no one seems to mention on here is Tony Pullis. like him or not he does tick most of the boxes that MM seems to want the trouble on here is that most seem to want a Prem manager or an old Foxes hero City have been shit for quite a few years now and i want them to be a solid strong Championship side. Pullis, on a very limited budget HAS had Stoke achieving some very good results and finishes considering the finances that they have had. he has also used the loan market very well -- something that MM may well like as there is no long term commitment and they may get us at the right end of the table. when you get to the Prem get a Prem manager-- until then get someone that can get fighting up at the top end of the Championship. Pullis, for me, would get us competing again-- if not playing the prettiest stuff don't expect many on here to agree with me though

I personly don't like Pulis, but with all of the limeted finaces they have had they are a good solid Championship team and should be around the playoff area

People on here for some reason think he is total shite because Stoke play unattractive hoofball, but as you said it gets results for them.

I personally don't like Pulis, but with all of the limited finances they have had they are a good solid Championship team and should be around the playoff area does that mean you agree or not? you don't have to like him i liked Rob Kelly but where did that get me? he's just someone with bags of experience at this level that has never really had the chance of the bigger clubs that, with a bit of tweaking, could kick on to the Prem. wouldn't be in many Foxes top 3 but better and more proven than many mentioned before
r1deano Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 It's all bollocks. It doesn't matter who's on the shortlist. We just need an appointment. milan is the manager! he just wants a puppet, a yes boss to front his game!
