davieG Posted 19 November 2007 Author Posted 19 November 2007 Free ticket offer now over!!! Leicester City Football Club today sent out a message of thanks to their season ticket holders following an incredibly busy weekend at the Walkers Stadium. Over 5,000 supporters made the trip to the ground over the period - taking advantage of the free ticket offer and City Megastore double discount. And the club moved swiftly to praise their fans following a record weekend of trading. A City spokesman said: "We would like to place on record our thanks to supporters following what has been an incredibly hectic weekend here at the Walkers Stadium. "Over 7,000 tickets were snapped up for the Cardiff game - meaning that the total gate for the match already stands at 24,000 with another week of matchday ticket sales to go. "Fans also took advantage of the double discount offer that was available at the City Megastore - giving us the biggest non-matchday sales over a weekend period for quite some time." Fans are reminded that the free weekend ticket offer has now ended - but supporters can still secure their seats for the game at just £23 for adults, £21 for senior citizens, £15 for under 22s/students, £10 for under 16s and £5 for under 12. Don't forget - under 8s go free in the Family Enclosure. There are currently just 5,000 tickets on general sale in the home areas of the stadium.
