Bert Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 My free tickets are in the post. Wonder if anyone will buy them?

Ashley Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 I carnt see how this 2 free tickets will work. We have about 15,000 season ticket holders. Each of them have been offerd 2 FREE tickets each which takes the total number of tickets avabile for this game to 45,000. Our stadium holds 32,500 ? How will it work

How will it work Obviously not every season ticket holder will take advantage of this offer and those that do might not have 2 free tickets but just the one. I'm guessing Milan has specified an amount of tickets that can be given away, say 12000 to be given out first come first serve. 14000 season ticket holders + 2000 away fans +12000 free tickets = 28000. 3000ish to be sold to other supporters I may be wrong. Just a guess

Just a guess that's a bit optimistic...2000 fans from cardiff on a (probably) cold monday night when it's on sky...12,000 people taking up the offer... i'm sorry but i just can't see it

All this will do is maintain the 20000+ attendance level without it we'd have been down to 18000 Max

Didn't think about it particularly well . Cold is an understatement going on the last few days. They were just random estimates to be honest which meant thats probably how Milan has thought it out.
David O'Leary Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 Quite pleased about this. Let the eggchasers struggle for a parking space for once. Yeah I agree with you. Didn't think about it particularly well . Cold is an understatement going on the last few days. They were just random estimates to be honest which meant thats probably how Milan has thought it out. F*****g frezzing is a understatment
Raj Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 Thats a bit harsh.... I am not a season ticket holder due to Work committments, I get down as often as I possibly can... Does that make me "armchair fan"? I didnt mean armchair fan as a derogatory term. Just meaning people who like City but just cant be arsed to go down on a regular basis. The freebie gives them an opportunity to sample what us regulars have to put up with enjoy! I carnt see how this 2 free tickets will work.We have about 15,000 season ticket holders. How will it work I've heard we are using Old Trafford for this game to cope with the massive crowd expected!!! Still to be confirmed though.

Ashley Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Ash. did you get your tickets in N block? I applied for some by E mail today. No mate they wouldnt let me. The ticket office said you can have them in p1. I asked why and he said they've been told to keep that section closed for the game. ( I dunno why )
Nath Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Been down city twice today and both times the Ticket Office has been packed with people taking full advantage of both free ticket's.
Simi Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 If they'd of opened N Block up for this, I'd of attempted to sort something out.
SamL Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 I emailed about this last night, i've got no reply Well played to the ticket office once again
