Mikey Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 In the Sunday People today it says that Man United may be swapping £5 million + Louis Saha for Samuel Eto'o. I think this would be a good swap as Eto'o is by far the better player I think.

Barca are losing out on this. Saha will struggle big time. But then again...Sunday People

Darkzzz_ Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 and these are yet more reasons why i dont buy the newspapers.... brainwashed!!
Asha Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Think Eto'o to Man Utd is a realistic prospect, but surely for more than that. I can't believe he's believed to be the same value as Akinbiyi (is/was/never was). Maybe for £10-£15m something like that.
Nath Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 If this is true, we should flog Hammond and 5 Mill for Eto'o. Come on Milan. Get on it!
Asha Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 If this is true, we should flog Hammond and 5 Mill for Eto'o.Come on Milan. Get on it! I'd rather keep Hammond tbh.
sdb Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 what a stupid rumour. barca wouldn't let him go. if it said £20 mill plus saha (who's got persistant injury problems anyway) i'd still say it was unrealistic - but £5 mill - pah!
The Reverend Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Dont think this is a bad deal for either team. In theory, Saha is worth 10-15 million so the deal is worth about 15-20 million, which when you consider Henry went there for 14 million, then its not a bad deal at all. Henry and Saha up top wouldnt be too bad if Saha could stay fit. But then i suppose look what Shevchenko went for. Funny old market innit.
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I'd rather keep Hammond tbh. please tell me that's sarcastic?
Lovejoy Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Still don't know this Bertrand lad. Who is he?Anyone rate him? Apparently he's been quality on loan for Oldham this season.
Joe. Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Man Utd would be laughing if they got Eto'o for that price...
