Keeper for next season

I still hope we manage to sign Walker for next season, and I hope Craig Levein doesnt leave it too long.

If not I've been having a think as to who we should get. Stuart Taylor looks like he could be an excellent keeper or alternatively perhaps we could go for Paul Smith of Southampton, especially if Niemi gets his place back in the side.

Anyone else have any other thoughts?

Id wager if we dont sign walks someone from the premiership will do. Wed be stupid not to keep him. I notice on bbc yesterday that Crsytal Palace's Iain Dowie was watching in the crowd at the match between ourselves and blackburn. It didnt say why he was there, but it wouldnt surprise me if he was eyeing up one or two of our players, particularly as he may well know Ian Walker's contract is up soon. I say sign him up again quick!

Probably more to do with Palace playing Blackburn - 20th April

Maybe, but wouldnt it have been better to pick one of Blackburn's games nearer the time? =/ I duno.. either way - get Ian signed up - top premiership standard (and international standard) keeper

Maybe, but more often than not, even with TV they are playing at the same time.

I wouldnt have thought Dowie would be looking at Walker, Kiraly has been doing a good job for Palace - well impressed me anyway.

Walker's got to be the man for me, he has said he wants to stay and will take a pay cut to do so - Craig just had better not miss the boat on this one and leave it too late. Otherwise Taylor would be high on my list for a replacement.

Lewis Price from Ipswich. He was awesome for them down here at the walkers. Havent they sent him out on Loan because he is only 3rd choice, and cant see him playing while Davis is there
