Reserves player ratings v Coventry

Paul Henderson 6 (One outstanding save from close range and another one or two important moments but did not always look at his best and a shot spilled allowed Coventry to score their opener).

Lee Cox 7 (When does this lad ever play badly? Solid, reliable, totally involved. Coventry fed on fast disappearing scraps down their left).

Bruno N'Gotty 6 (Solid if a little laboured at times. Subbed later.)

Harry Worley 6 (Aerially quite effective. Might have converted a couple of Kishishev corners but the ball caught the top of his head and went too high. Not urgent enough recovering from his mistakes though. On one occasion he gave away possession and simply walked back as play moved into the City box. He'll have to learn differently from that pretty quickly.)

Jamie Clapham 6.5 (Apart from some early rustiness in his passing and one diagonal "Mattock" ball which beat him and could have cost a goal, looked like he knew his job and could play the ball simply and quickly. Had the Shush! attribute of being able to offer the goalkeeper a throwing option too. He didn't look any threat as an attacker and whether he's still got enough pace for the Championship I don't know but he looked generally in decent shape and the sort of player you could trust and who'd be easy for other players to understand and link in with).

Gabor Bori 7 (Solid all round game. Good skills at times, maintained our width, passed the ball well, lasted the pace and should have won a penalty. No complaints at all really.)

Radostin Kishishev 7.5 (Apart from being caught in possession three times was a noticeable influence in midfield both as a defender and attacker. Kish never looked quick but he controlled distribution of the ball quite well and delivered some dangerous corners. One terrific short through ball should have produced a goal, his corner led to Fryatt's opener and he lasted better than I thought too).

James Wesolowski 7 (Early booking and a bit out of touch with his passing to begin with but soon slipped into gear and did much to help Kish maintain City's momentum).

Ryan Beswick 8 (Terrific equalising free kick. Constantly probed Coventry's defence with some really thoughtful final passes).

Matty Fryatt 6.5 (Welcome tap in goal but should have scored another from very close range and seemed to fade quite seriously second half. Seemed to lack sharpness).

DJ Campbell 6 (Impish and elusive as always, some clever moments on the ball but seemed to take a touch or two too many and fail to make the right decisions. Lasted the pace though and was still a handful.)

Subs: Lathanial Rowe-Turner 5 (Showed his athleticism once or twice but still prone to error).

Scott Garner 5.5 (One important block and generally coped okay).

robbie Burns (Not on long enough to rate).

Go to the bottom and look at the line-up that we selected for this game.

Note: Sergio Hellings and Rab Douglas. Personally I cant pass judgement on Hellings cause ive never seen him play, but with Kaebi and the most of the Allen shite getting released, why is Serge still here?

And Douglas, aint he on for his bus pass soon? Defo get rid of him. One less on the wage bill.

That's encouraging - about Sinclair I mean.
