Lillehamring Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 don't know if there is anyone here into the zombies, one of the finest bands of the 60s (and as Argent and Colin Blunstone, great in the 70s, too)... anyway, they are an awesome band and tonight i'm off to 'a night with blunstone and argent', at rockefella... really stoked about this, as i couldn't get to see them last year... anyone into them going to see the odessey and oracle in london this spring, very tempting....
Finnegan Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 I once performed She's Not There dressed as a chef and got cheered by teenage girls. True story.

Rincewind Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Are they still around? Just shows that the old uns are still the best. How many bands these days will stiil be around in 2048?
Chromophobia Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 odessey and oracle is one of my favorite albums ever. Time of The Season is the one the best songs ever too. fooking perfection.

Chromophobia Posted 14 March 2008 Posted 14 March 2008 Nah. None of my friends are fans and I don't fancy going to big old London on my tod.
Lillehamring Posted 14 March 2008 Author Posted 14 March 2008 Nah. None of my friends are fans and I don't fancy going to big old London on my tod. shame, they were a class act, put on a really good show... i mean, how many bands can come out for an encore and say: 'you may wonder why we are playing this, cause we wrote it...' and the crack into 'god gave rock n roll to ya...' answer: one, the zombies, or maybe two if rod argent toured seperately with Argent, but now i'm just being pedantic.
