THere's enough being printed to ensure a fair number will have them.

Fans go Ollie mask crazy The internet fanzine group behind the Ian Holloway masks say Leicester City fans have gone “absolutely ballistic” for them.

The website Bentley's Roof, who came up with the idea of producing the mask to allow City fans to show their support for Ollie against his former club Plymouth Argyle, are having 5,000 printed for fans to wear at the game this evening.

Members of the website have been frantically printing the masks over the last two days, and print firm John E Wright, based in Charles Street, Leicester, have donated 2,000 images free of charge.

The Mercury also incorporated a mask on the front of the Sporting Blue to allow readers to get in on the act.

Rupert Mathias, who runs PR firm OMG Media and helps with content on the website www.bentleysroof.co.uk, said he could not believe the level of interest, and thanked the Mercury for their support.

He said: “It has gone absolutely crazy. We have got masks flying off printers everywhere. Fans have gone absolutely ballistic for them.

“We have been struggling to get people on to the site, and others have been helping to print them. It has all been done for the love of it (the club). We have also had interest from Soccer AM and Sky, as well as the local media in Leicester and Plymouth.

“We were over the moon with the support of the Leicester Mercury. It was fantastic and we were blown away by it. Rob McCoy (Bentley's Roof moderator) works nights and has not really slept for the last 48 hours.”

Although Holloway has joked it is a “haunting thought” to see thousands of masks of himself in the crowd, Mathias thinks the City boss will enjoy it.

He said: “I think Ollie is going to love it, I know I would! It is going to look fantastic in the ground. We are hoping there is going to be a core of people in one area wearing them.”

Mathias also hopes the printing firm will prove to be a “lucky charm” and help guide City to a much-needed win.

He said: “The printer (John E Wright) has done posters before and City have won games.

“It was a complete donation, and we are thankful for that.”
