Simon Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Good for him, I believe he was a good servant to this club (the first time around- he didnt get much of a chance the second time)
Craig Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Good luck Gups... Probably my most favorite player ever.
Guest Daniel Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Steve Guppy was a very good player for this club. Remember THAT goal at stamford bridge? Beauty!
Wellman Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Steve Guppy was a very good player for this club.Remember THAT goal at stamford bridge? Beauty! 79535[/snapback] Oh I do!!! He was one of my favourite players ever to wear a Leicester shirt back in the day! Loved the bloke Good luck gups
Bedford Fox Posted 16 March 2005 Posted 16 March 2005 Good luck to Gups! He had a great left foot and was a alround great player for us.
Scow Posted 17 March 2005 Posted 17 March 2005 He did alright in his second spell until he was injured. A number of people didn't rate him, mainly because he couldn't tackle very well. I thought he was invaluable for us, setting up so many goals with his class deliveries from open play/set pieces. He also scored some crucial goals too.
Ricey Posted 17 March 2005 Posted 17 March 2005 I thought we has brilliant first time around and also good the second time. When he was here last seeason he worked very hard and gave us some much needed creativity down the wings. Good luck Gupps.
Frenzied Posted 17 March 2005 Posted 17 March 2005 Great player. During his first spell with us he was rated as the second best crosser of the ball in the country, after Beckham. I think that shows his quality. One of the biggest mistakes Taylor made was to sell him - our goals dried up after that.
