acooling08 Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 but he is bound to look good playing in scotland because it's a lot easier
Geo V Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I would have released him before the season started but he lost some weight and looked good early in the season and then that was his two good performances for the season before he went back to his old ways. So many players have the ability for whatever reason cant galvanize themselves to become consistent and he is yet another one of the players that has played for our club in recent times who flatters to deceive as he plays well one game and shite in the nest 5. SPL is his level but I`ll guarantee he wont score 1 in 2 goals up there, probably nowhere near 1 in 3 goals which is a problem when you are a striker.
Nath. Posted 15 February 2008 Author Posted 15 February 2008 2 goals this season at various levels says it all really and this season has been one of his 'better' years.Good grief, if people really think de Vries is the answer to all our problems then it just highlights how pathetic we really are. Hmm, 2 goals, what, as apposed to Matty Fryatts 3 goals in 20 starts and 3 sub appearances this season! Or even Hume, 29 starts, 4 sub appearances, only 7 goals!.... So compared to the rest of the team, It doesnt matter that he's only scored 2 goals!
STUHILL Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I don't care how good Devries looks now, he had plenty time here to prove he was good enough. He definately didn't!! I could look bloody good in Scottish football. Howard is a much better player if we use him right!!

AyewJoking Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 Who the fook is de vries? I know past glories are all we have (yes, times are so bad I'm using de vries and glories in the same sentence) but move on, leave the bitterness to Plymouth fans.
gosfox Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 No Disrespect to MDV but doesn't it just show how low our club has sunk in the last few years, that we should even be discussing the release of such a player
