filbertboy Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 A Southampton (WIN)A WBA (WIN) H Hull (WIN) H Scúnthorpe (WIN) A Sheff Utd (WIN) H Colchester (WIN) A Barnsley (WIN) H Sheff Wed (WIN) A Stoke (.....................WIN) How can anyone predict how we will do! Fair enough if it was the Prem but this league is just ridiculous! Just pointless! Thinking about it you are right....its the most inconsistent league ever !!!! Bugger I wasted half an hour predicting how many points from nine games we would get !!!! I was also eating my tea !!
Super Arj Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 youre all underestimating the flukeyness of leicester city fc every season it looks like were going down... but always fluke it anyway
STUHILL Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 youre all underestimating the flukeyness of leicester city fcevery season it looks like were going down... but always fluke it anyway This is true, but how much longer can it last!!? We do have to remember all the teams around us though, they will all be panicking just as much as us! As long as we aren't in the actual bottom 3 at any point, then I will be pretty confident!!
Metartarsal Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 These are the games that matter... A Colchester A Cov H Crystal Palace H Stoke City H Cov A S****horpe A Sheff Utd H Plymouth A Blackpool A US H Norwich If Sheff Wed win one of their (two) games in hand and beat us, we're fooked...
maddog Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 It could be exactly the same as last season. We may have to travel down to Barnsley again, and it could be the game that saves us, and them again. It's like de ja vu! Deep down i feel we just can't go down, and won't go down. I get the feeling we will save ourselves. We may plummit into League 2 if we go down, it happens to a lot of teams. But when i think about it, it would be better for us to go down, bounce straight back up and go into the 09/10 season with a winning mentality, than stay in the Championship just, then just survive again next season and go into the 09/10 season with no confidence and no winning mentality. But you just can't predict what will happen if we went down, i know i would enjoy it if we won most games and finished top. But we may lose most games and finish near the bottom. Theres some lovely grounds in League 1, and i feel if we did go down, we would come straight back up. But we haven't been in the drop zone once this season so theres no panic yet. I don't think Ollie is the right man though, id stick with him if we went down certainly but if we stayed up im unsure. He just isn't motivating the players to perform, on paper we should be in the top half easily.

Aren't you forgetting all the other teams around us! Not exactly just between us and Sheff Wednesday! Luckily, there are a load of shite teams within only 3 points of us, and I can guarantee they have just as much chance as us of going down with 9 games to go!!
Nationwider Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I think it just all depends on how we do in the remaining matches.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 A Southampton (draw)A WBA (lose) H Hull (draw) H Scúnthorpe (win) A Sheff Utd (lose) H Colchester (win) A Barnsley (draw) H Sheff Wed (draw) A Stoke (lose) Seems likely
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Next match is so important if we win it should give us a bit of breathing space and our future in our hands. A loss and i may need a change of underwear.
Zingari Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 I think it just all depends on how we do in the remaining matches. yes it aint over until the fat lady sings
