Rincewind Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 The Queen Victoria has been taken over and now sell a selection of real ales. On 10-12th April they are holding a beer cider and sausage festival. Sausage and mash, Yorkshire puds will be available using a variety of English sausages, one variety reported as the best local sausages. They will be homemade sausages no additives. They now also have a book section relating to beer, pubs, brewing and anything related to the drinking past-time. Donations welcome. Eventually they will be putting them all in a specially designated bookshelf. A reminder that they are for reading in the pub not for taking home as one or two visitors have presumed. I will be there most likely on Friday 11th from lunch time until early evening. I will attempt to sample a variety of beers and sausages. We need a food and drink section on here.
