Atmosphere was awful as usual.

I felt so pissed off with it in the first half even I resembled a double-deckerroonie.

And the drummer needs to bang the bloody thing in time.

Can I apply to the club for mis-selling of a season ticket ? It was sold as the "New Kop, full of noise and atmosphere".

Since when it has progressively thrown out people trying to generate an atmoshere and fill it up with flask bearers (offensive weapons, surely) and bored kiddies stuffing themselves with choccies.

Nice idea from Colchester to have an unreserved area.

considering it was scunny, who didn't exactly rise the roof themselves, the Kop didn't sound too bad from where i was sitting ( G block)

i had a platinum membership voucher which i exchanged and thats where they put me.

i sat next to some old woman and probably her son (or toy boy) and for the whole of the first 25-30 minutes, she was tucking into a pie and he read the programe and hardly looked up at all

both have probably had season tickets for 2 decades now and are true loyal supporters

We lost 3-0 at home to Pompey once in the old Div 2, and the lights went out during the game.

After the match my best mate's dad stormed into the ticket office and demanded his money back as this 'wasn't football'.

When they got home, my mate cut up his season ticket for embarassing him ...quality.
