Kilworthfox Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Speaking about expectations that are justifiable.... "It's too higher an expectation to be winning cups and finishing top half of the table in the Premiership, like we did a few years ago?" I want to know if there is any reason to think this is unachievable?

Kilworthfox Posted 7 April 2008 Author Posted 7 April 2008 Yes there is.We're down the bottom of the division below. By that logic it was always incomprehensible 10 years ago we would be where we are now.
Thracian Posted 7 April 2008 Posted 7 April 2008 Having expectations in football is presumptious but our intentions should be clear and simple - to win the next game. Managers should always be planning ahead, no question, but the next match is the only relevent event in a football club. And God help us if people need telling that.

And here I am starting threads about Barnsley! If any player reads this forum he will have a mind full of uncertainty's and become a physical wreck! I feel so ashamed of myself for putting the LCFC players through this torment!
