On the one hand, it makes the end to the season exciting... I'd ABSOLUTELY LOVE it if we win against Sheff Wed scoring a last minute goal that secures our Championship status... THAT would be amazing.

On the other hand, if we fail and get relegated then it'll be absolutely devastating and I'll be in a total depression for days if not weeks after...

So come on lads, don't let us down... win against Barnsley and Sheff Wed and keep us up!!!

all I can say is you must have peculiar tastes in respect of entertainment, I bet you would be first in the queue to see a hanging, this season like the previous ones, with one or exceptions has been purgatory. as for value for money frankly if it was any other kind of business/entertainment I'd be demanding a full refund.

I know the value for money has been poor but i'm just saying it has never been boring, there has always been something interesting happening, and i wouldn't be the first in the queue to see a hanging just for the record!!!

As a City fan we have been lucky enough to witness promotion, win cups, play in Europe and suffer somewhat expected relegations and heartache like losing to Wycombe in the cup but all in all we have had some great times over the last 10-12 years whilst most fans have had to sit through mediocrity. We should be thankful for the good times.

That said, there is no doubt that relegation will be as devastating a feeling as a bereavement of a loved one but a real fan should get over it and look forward to the following season. I have read some prats say they wont go to watch the club they so called love if we get relegated and it does happen as we wouldn't be the first club to go down and see attendances fall but if this does occur and the unthinkable relegation does happen, lets see how many stick by the club and don't go all Graham Norton on the situation.

To surmise, its bad but we`ll get over it and move on and the lads or lasses that don't are probably the yellow livered buggers who turn up on matchday to moan and not sing.

I don't think anyone can truly enjoy football if they can't be as engrossed by the bad as they are by the good. I don't mean that a fan won't find it hard not to turn away, might not relish the games as much, might leave the odd game early, but it's part of the package and it's one of the reasons noone respects a glory fan. If you can't battle through the bad as well as enjoy the good, why bother?

I partly agree re battleing through the bad i.e. I was about when we were rescued by Brian Little and nearly went down last time. It was different then is as much that whilst the players were argueably less talented, they appeared to try their best and you felt a part of it. Also, if MM hadn't come and a similar thing had occurred whilst trying our best with what we'd got, even with the younger players, I would have been upset but still bought a seaon ticket next year and given my undying support yet again. However, things seem different now. MM has turned us into a bit of a joke and clearly doesn't know as much about football as he thinks he does, as for loyalty, his only loyalty is to his investment which I can personally understand, but forget this sudden undying love for the club crap. As for Ollie, I just can't see why people want to defend him, just analyse his record and statistics. I know we all crave stability but at what price? Compared with many teams above us, we do have the players, he's spent the money on HIS team. It's a different team every week, different formation, players consistantly out of position, the mans a complete half wit! He's like a very poor mans Steve McClaren! Perhaps because I'm a bit older I can't accept this blind 'you must follow them through thick and thin hogwash' and that if you don't, your not a true supporter type attitude. Laying back and just accepting poor running and management of the club without criticising means you just deserve what you get like fickle sheep. If we go down and lets be honest, we can still do it, I for one won't be buying a season ticket of Ollie's still in charge.
