But it's something i've decided is very shrewd as it's not really gambling because you win either way in some respect. The buzz of actually winning the money though is an empty feeling for a while. My betting on all the teams around us to win hasn't been very lucrative though and we're still in the relegation zone, so that hasn't been a win win situation.

I think you should go on Betfair and offer odds of 2.2/1 on City going down and guarantee yourself odds of 4/1 on your original stake. Thats 4/1 guaranteed profit on your outlay. You can then cheer us on without hoping that we miss that last minute peno against the Dellilah lovers.

I shall be doing that tonight when I get home, i'll morally feel much better as well. I just hope me taking the 'insurance' option doesn't turn the screw in our relegation battle for the superstitious part of me. Would rather lose and stay up every day of the week. But it's a very good opportunity to be guaranteed some money that could pay for Barnsley & Stoke away.
