Imagine if, 10 years down the line, you were bankrupt and thrown in jail for ... i dunno... punching Dennis wise and it killing him. Then your sitting in your cell awaiting your goverment funded laywer and none other then Josh low comes in! Would you A: Try and escape out the bars but in the process killing yourself, B: Go along with it but then organise a shawshank style getaway or C: Sit there and laugh. Your life is fooked anyway.
