Ultra Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Leeds United guaranteed themselves a top-six finish regardless of their appeal against a 15-pt deduction by winning 1-0 at Yeovil tonight. But a certain on-loan left-back was sent off after 65 minutes for what was deemed a dangerous challenge. From what I saw on Sky, it looked a slightly harsh decision. There could be yet ANOTHER appeal to overturn this red card, as Shush! will otherwise be suspended for the last game of the regular season, plus two play-off games if Leeds need them.

It has been a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable season for us, whatever happens with the points saga. Can't wait for our final home game in front of a near 40000 crowd, with the opportunity to send Gillingham (one of the teams who encouraged a lot of support for our points deduction) into League 2. Potentially we'll see you again next season
