Thracian Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 I was offered £200 for my £45 Celine Dion concert ticket at the MEN arena last night - which might have been very tempting, in different circumstances, having just landed a £35 fine/legalised extortion demand for parking on derelict land courtesy of working man's Manchester. The City must be the rip off capital of England for visitors - there were no signs to say the parking was illegal, they charged £25 for a concert programme, it should have been illegal to sell such indifferent food at the Lowry Centre for the price they charged and unofficial MEN car park rip offs were abundant. That said the concert was something to remember for a lifetime.

What with the fine, two hours stuck in a traffic jam on the M6 and my wife ordering one of the worst pizza's she'd ever tasted and one or two other things, the day needed a boost.
