I didn't know about that in bold, but I remember people moaning about Milan because we were after Tunchev even though we didn't have a manager, but then the rumours came up again under Pearson and we signed him. The thread was in Transfer talk - but that's gone now... maybe an admin could help.

People were moaning because they THOUGHT it was a milan signing. I had this exact argument with someone the other day, I dug up an article from the mercury in which Tunchev said Steve Walsh has been scouting him for a while.
